Next Project
Client:
The tab "Booked Costs/Revenue" has now been divided into two sub-tabs: Costs and Revenues.
Internal cost vouchers are now created using the current database language instead of the reported user's language settings.
Added the ability to include "group" during the import of roles in Hourly Rates.
The columns "Project No" and "Project name" are now locked to the left side of the Project overview. This is to facilitate understanding of the numbers' association when scrolling horizontally.
It is now possible to filter columns with account numbers using the selection "not in" and then choose one or more accounts to filter out.
Tender/Contracts – Text fields can now be expanded for a better overview of the content. The spaces between the sections in the report have been unified to be the same size.
The new checklist, which was initially only available in Diary 2.0, is now also available in Work Orders, Additional Work (ÄTA), and Procurment. Checklist items can be formatted in bold, italic, and underlined in the client. Updated work order reports and ÄTA specifications to accommodate the new checklist format. Some adjustments have been made to handle data from the new checklist in the mobile version of Next, pending the new mobile version coming in 2025. For example, in the mobile version, there is only one field for Comments, while in the client there are now two columns, Feedback and Comment. See the mapping below to address this in the current version of Next mobile.
- Checklist items are displayed in the mobile app grouped by checklist. The list is sorted by number.
- If a Comment on the checklist is available in the client, it will appear as a Comment in the mobile app.
- If Feedback on the checklist is available in the client, it will appear as a Comment in the mobile app.
- If both Comment and Feedback on the checklist are available in the client, Feedback will appear as a comment in the mobile app.
- If you add content to the Comment field in the mobile app, this content will be added to the Feedback field in the client.
- The report shows Feedback from the client.
Procurment – Added a new column, "Purchase order no. The field is read-only and is set to a unique value when a bid reaches a final status. New fields for information have been added in the new sub-tab, Procurment – General, and also an option to add checklists in procurment in the same way as in Work order, AWO, and Journal 2.0.
It is now possible to set the number of decimals to be displayed in percentage fields per database, with the defaultvalue set to 1. Contact Next support if you need help adjusting this setting for your database.
Mobile:
Reports – Mobile users receive a more informative message in the event of a failed email report delivery. Added the option to filter non-billable order lines in the Daily Report in Work Orders.
Next Planning
It's now possible to send a read-only link again.
Resolved a bug that caused the side-bar to not be able to get back if minimized in stand-alone mode.
Next DOX
DOX has been translated into German, which improves accessibility and enables users to work on their projects in German. Users can change their language themselves via My Profile and as an administrator, the language can be changed on other users via list users.
The possibility to filter by column in task management has now been added. This gives a better overview when working with tasks and columns.
When inviting users to a bid via the project, there is now a list where you can select to invite users from a previous bid so you don't have to enter the same email addresses manually.
At Next, we would like to take this opportunity to thank you for this year and wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
