This article explains how to delete photos from a checklist report that were uploaded using the Camera element. It covers the step-by-step process for permanently removing images within the Field app, including confirmation and saving changes, and notes that this functionality is not available on the web client.

If you've taken pictures and uploaded them to a checklist report using the 'Camera' element, and you need to remove one or more of those photos, follow the steps below.

Please note: This can only be done in the Field app — it is not available on the WEB client.

1. On your phone or tablet, open the checklist that contains the photo(s) you want to delete.

2. Find the photo(s) you'd like to remove.

3. Tap the Delete button beneath each photo you want to remove.

4. A confirmation message will appear asking: "Are you sure you want to delete this image? This cannot be undone." Tap Yes to confirm.

5. The photo is now permanently deleted from the checklist.

6. When you're done, tap the Save button in the bottom right corner to save your changes.
