This article explains how to rename drawings and blueprints in the web solution to keep projects organized and easy to navigate. It covers naming best practices and provides step-by-step instructions for updating a drawing's name through the Drawing information menu.
To keep your drawings and blueprints organized, it's a good idea to choose names that are easy for everyone on the project to recognize. A drawing name typically includes something like an address, a building number, or a floor number — for example, "Kings Road 1A - 1. Floor".
Drawings and blueprints are sorted automatically in numerical and alphabetical order, so giving them well-thought-out names or numbering makes it much easier for all project members to find the right drawing quickly.
