Do Project Permissions work in Insights the same way they do in Next Project?

Right now, Project Permissions only work at the API user level. This means you can limit which projects are analyzed, but the permissions and restrictions apply at the company level — so they're the same for all users. That said, this is something the team is looking into solving once the IDP is in place.

Does calendar filtering follow the Invoice Date?

Most often, calendar filtering is based on the Booked Date. If that's not available, it falls back to the Performed Date or Created Date.

Can you create your own dashboard to visualize the data that matters most to you?

This isn't possible at the moment, but the team is looking into allowing users with other licenses to create their own dashboards and views in the future.

Can the dashboard be linked to data outside of Next Project?

Connecting to data outside of Next Project isn't possible today, but the team is exploring the possibilities.

Is it possible to track hours on specific tasks?

You can display the number of hours in each WO/VO.

Is it possible to see a specific machine's CM ratio in hours?

This sounds like a key figure that could be developed. The team is happy to receive suggestions for key figures and how they should be calculated.

Are there tools for generating forecasts in Next Insights?

Forecasts will continue to be generated in Next Project. Data from forecasts isn't currently available via the API, but it will be after the new budget/forecast is released. At that point, there will be improved opportunities to create new views for this. *is this updated information?*

How quickly does Next Insights update when changes are made in Next Project?

Currently, information is downloaded from Next Project on a nightly basis.

Can you customize reports in Next Insights?
