This article explains how to add a due date to items (tasks) in the Next Field app, both during item creation and after the fact. It also covers accessing due dates from the web, filtering items by due date, and notes the current limitation regarding automatic due date notifications.
Adding a due date when creating an item
When you create a new item in the Next Field app, you can add a due date right away. Here's how:
Click the Add a due date icon while creating your item.
Select your preferred date and time.
Adding a due date to an existing item
If your item has already been created, don't worry — you can still add a due date. Click on the item pin to open the item, then update the Add due date field. Alternatively, you can click the three-dot menu in the upper right corner and select Set due date.
Adding a due date from the web
You can also access all your items and add due dates from the item list at web.checkd.it.
Filtering items by due date
You can use due date as a filter in your item list to find items with a specific due date. Click here to learn more.
A note on due date notifications
Please note that Next Field does not currently send automatic notifications when due dates expire. This feature will be introduced at a later time.
