This article explains how to create an item (task) in the web version of Checkd.it using two available methods. Users will learn how to create an item pinned to a specific location on a drawing or blueprint, as well as how to create an item directly from the Items list within a project.

There are two ways you can create an item in web.checkd.it. Follow the steps below for whichever method works best for you.

Create an item pinned on a drawing/blueprint

1. Log in to web.checkd.it.

2. Find your project and open the relevant drawing from the Drawing tab.

3. Click New item — a new window will appear.

4. Click on the drawing in the window to pin the location and start editing your item.

5. Fill in all the relevant details, including a title (required), description, tags, due date, and an assignee.

6. Click Save to create your item.

Create an item from the Items list

1. Log in to web.checkd.it.

2. Find your project and open it.

3. Go to the Items tab.

4. Click New item in the upper right corner of the screen.
