This article explains how to manage column visibility, order, and saved views in Next Project. It covers how to show or hide columns, rearrange them via drag-and-drop, and save custom column configurations as Favorite Views for quick access. Show and hide columns

In every module in Next Project, you can choose which columns to display and control the order they appear in. Here's how to show or hide columns:

1. Hover over any column header and click the down arrow that appears, then select 'Columns'.
   Or, click the Favorite View button (which looks like a window) at the far right above the column headers, then click 'Show dialog'.

2. You'll see a list of all the columns available in the current module.

3. Check the columns you want to turn on and uncheck the ones you want to turn off, then click 'Apply'. Your changes will only apply to your user account — if your colleagues want the same setup, they'll need to log in and follow these same steps themselves.

Save your column selections as Favorite Views

Inside the column dialog, you can save your column selections for later use — these are called Favorite Views. You can create multiple Favorite Views within the same module. Keep in mind that Favorite Views are specific to your user account, though the ability to share them between users is something that's currently being worked on.

1. Click the Favorite View button (which looks like a window) at the far right above the column headers, then click 'Show dialog'.
2. Click 'New view'.
3. Enter a name for the view in the pop-up box and click 'OK'.
4. Check or uncheck the columns you want to display.
5. Click 'Save view'.

Your Favorite View will also save your column order.

Change your column selections in a Favorite View

Need to update which columns are included in an existing Favorite View? Here's how:

1. Open the dialog for column selection.
2. Select your Favorite View from the list.
3. Check or uncheck the columns you want to display.
4. Click 'Save view'.

Column order

You can rearrange your columns by clicking on a column header and dragging and dropping it into the position you want. Just like with column visibility, this change only applies to your own user account — your colleagues will need to log in and follow the same steps if they'd like to reorder their columns too.

You can save different column orders by using Favorite Views.

Adjust column order in a Favorite View

Here's how to update the column order saved in an existing Favorite View:

1. Click the Favorite View button (which looks like a window) at the far right above the column headers and select the Favorite View whose column order you'd like to change.
2. Drag and drop the columns into your preferred order.
3. Click the Favorite View button again to open the dropdown menu, then click 'Save view'.
