This article describes how project permissions in Next work in relation to Insights. It explains that permissions are currently only managed at the API user level, meaning that restrictions apply at the company level and are the same for all users.

Project permissions currently only work at the API user level. This means that you can restrict which projects are read, but the restriction applies at the company level and is therefore the same for all users there. This is something we are working on resolving once our IDP is in place.
