This article explains how to send an email directly from the system using the Email feature found in the Messages menu. It covers the full composition process, including adding internal and external recipients, attaching files in various formats, and sending the message.
Follow the steps below to send an email from the system.
Getting to Email
Click on Menu.
Click on Messages.
Click on Email.

Composing and sending your email

Add recipients
Internal
- Select a group (the admin groups are listed here).
- Select whether the recipients should be added as visible or hidden.
- Click Add all or click on individual users.
External
- Type the addresses manually in the fields.

Choose whether or not to attach selected files. To attach selected files, they must first be selected — see Select files for details. Your attachment options are:
- Attach none
- Zip-file (with folder structure, require log in)
- Zip-file (with folder structure, without log in)
- Zip-file (without folder structure, require log in)
- Zip-file (without folder structure, without log in)
- Select files in project (require log in)
Add a subject.
Type your message.
Click Send.
