Click on the row for a file.

Click on File comments.

Type your comment.

If you'd like a message sent to everyone who has a notification set on the folder, check the Send notification box.

Click Save.

If a file has multiple revisions, a label appears next to the comment to indicate whether it refers to a revised or current revision.
