This article explains how to use docx and xlsx files as autofill templates within a project by adding placeholder labels that are automatically replaced with specified values. It covers the full process, from creating and uploading a template file to selecting it, entering replacement values, and generating the completed document.
You can create docx or xlsx files as templates and have them autofilled directly from your project. Simply add labels to your document, upload it, and specify the values you want to replace those labels with — the document will be filled in automatically.
- Create a docx or xlsx file locally on your computer.
- Add labels to the file using the format {{label name}} for text and {{!image logo}} for images (images are supported in xlsx files only).
(The label names "label name" and "logo" can be replaced with any label names you choose.)
