How to manage Statuses
Statuses are available in several modules in Next Project, such as Project, Work order and Variation order. With the help of the Statuses you can easily monitor progress in the different modules.
To be able to change and add Statuses you need access to the Admin area.
To change/add Statuses go to Admin → Settings → Statuses. Under the Statuses tab, there are sub-tabs where you click on the selection of Statuses you want to change.
To add a Status, click on the relevant tab for the selection of Statuses you want to change, and click on the ‘Add’ (+) button.
Name - name of the status
Code - determines where in the order the status will be placed
Colour - select the colour by typing the name of the colour or a six-digit colour code (#000000). Examples colours and codes can be found here.
Good to keep in mind that projects with status code 40 and up are sent to your financial system if is is integrated. The status of projects and work orders can also affect what is visible to mobile users in Next Mobile, contact your administrator if you are unsure of the settings in your database.
