This article describes the integration between Next and Accurator, a procurement platform that consolidates your entire procurement workflow in a single system. Here you'll find information about what's included in the integration, what synchronizes between systems, and how to enable the feature through Next support.

Background

The need emerged early on – customers wanted procurement management integrated directly into Next. Since summer 2025, the integration has been developed in close collaboration with customers and will be released on April 21, 2026.

What is the integration?

This is an integration between Next and Accurator (a procurement platform) that consolidates your entire procurement workflow in one place – while also giving you access to a marketplace with additional business opportunities. The goal is to eliminate duplicate work and unnecessary administration for users of both systems.

What's included in the integration?

• Synchronization of projects, categories, time entries, agreed costs, and vendors between Next and Accurator
• Purchases can be initiated from both systems
• In Next, a notification and dropdown with relevant requests from Accurator's marketplace appears directly in the top menu
• There are also notifications in the top bar for incoming purchases from Accurator

What syncs – and what doesn't?

What syncs:

• Basic procurement data (such as date) and projects – matching occurs via account number
• Each purchase line is sent to Accurator and back

What doesn't sync (yet):

• Vendor registry and activity/status – these are managed manually in Next
• Purchase lines are not automatically distributed between systems
• Project sync is manual, not automatic – however, you can start projects from both Next and Accurator, and in Accurator you can choose which projects to sync or not

How do you enable the integration?

1. Contact Next support to help you activate the feature. The requirement is that you have an active agreement with Accurator.
2. Your company's organization number must be registered in Next (with or without hyphens) – the organization number is used for matching against Accurator.
3. When the integration is activated, you'll gain access to the Accurator Procurement module permission in Next as well as access to project settings in Next. This permission needs to be activated in Next.
4. In Accurator, a button will then appear to import projects from Next, and projects can also be sent from Accelerator to Next.

Marketplace and notifications

Menu options and notifications in Next automatically adjust depending on whether you're a buying company or selling company in Accurator:

• Buying companies see their projects
• Selling companies (subcontractors/vendors) see received requests and the marketplace. If Accurator sends requests to you, you can see them directly in the notification bar. If you don't have an account yet, the number of requests is still displayed – click on it to be taken to the registration page where you can create an account for free. If another Accurator customer has entered you as a vendor using your organization number, you'll see the requests in Next when they send them out, even without your own account.

If you're not an Accurator customer but click on a link, you'll have the option to register. If another Next customer has entered you as a vendor using your organization number, you can still see requests in Next – without being an Accurator customer.

April 2026

• Accurator integration: With the release of the new Accurator integration, a button labeled Accurator will be introduced in Next Project, located in the top right corner. It will be visible to everyone and will have different options depending on whether the integration is active or not.
• If the integration is inactive, you still have two options. One option is matching requests on the marketplace. The other is to create a vendor account in Accurator. When you do, you'll also be able to view received requests.
• At the same time, a new sub-tab called Project Settings will be introduced under the Projects tab. It will initially only contain an option for the Accurator integration, but you won't be able to enter anything in the checkbox unless the integration is active.
