RESOLVED 2026-05-19 Issue Creating Invoices with Tax Reduction

The following issue has been resolved:

"New known issue 
A discrepancy can occur in revenue accounting when making changes to invoice lines; if you try to balance the accounting, Next may freeze."

A fix is now released and has resolved the following:

  • It is not possible to handle tax reduction if revenue accounting is not activated.
  • The basis for tax reduction is not updated on the invoice report, so the amounts do not always match.
  • All handling must be done manually regarding tax reduction if you do not have a work order selected to post on customer invoices.

Known issues:

  • It is not possible to handle tax reduction if revenue accounting is not activated.

These are under testing, and we still plan to release a fix during the afternoon.

A solution is currently being tested, and if everything looks good, we plan to release a fix this afternoon.

We have now identified the cause of the problem and have a potential solution. A fix will be available no earlier than tomorrow afternoon as we need to ensure the quality of the fix before releasing it to production.

After yesterday’s release, there is currently a problem creating invoices with tax reduction if you do not have revenue accounting activated in your database.
