Next Project - Releasenotes 25th August 2025
News
- A new column, Account Type, has been added to the view for posted costs. Previously, Account Type was only visible in the chart of accounts, but it is now included in posted costs for easier access to the information.
- When sending emails from Procurement, the list of suppliers can be long. It is now possible to filter in that view, for example, by supplier bid status.
- Role has been added as a column in Procurement – Suppliers.
- When users' time is invoiced to your customers, the user's name is printed as a line on the invoice if the options Show details per person and Group by person are selected. It is now possible to activate a column called Alias in the user registry. If a user has an alias, it will be used on customer invoices instead of their name. Contact support if you wish to use aliases, and we will activate it for you.
- New functionality in Invoice now allows importing data into invoice rows.
- Files uploaded to Next that do not follow Windows naming standards will automatically have their filenames adjusted.
- New support for license management, where users with license management permissions will be able to plan and adjust licenses for the upcoming license period directly in Administration – Users/Permissions – Manage Licenses, as well as receive notifications 30 days before the contract renewal cutoff date.
New Mobile Solution
- When creating a new Journal, information about the work order is now displayed when clicking the info icon, similar to how it works in Time.
Fixes
- In the invoice template settings in Administration, two checkboxes were partially hidden. They are now properly mapped and fully visible.
- Fixed an issue where error messages could appear when saving changes in Invoice Attachments.
- Corrected the handling of VAT-exempt (non-construction VAT) invoices sent via the C-Invoice service.
- It is now possible to copy a VAT invoice.
- Clicking the PDF icon in Deviation without selecting a deviation previously did nothing. A message now appears informing the user that a deviation must be selected.
- Adjusted the English version of the VO specification and Journal report, where missing spaces between headings made the report hard to read.
- Reloading the Payoff module without a selected payoff could cause a server error – this has now been resolved.
- Fixed an error in the xlsx export from Forecast, where True/False values were incorrectly displayed in the exported files for the columns Warning and Include VO.
- Earlier this spring, Period became a mandatory field when creating a new forecast. A workaround was found, but that loophole has now been closed.
- In the Documents tab in Procurement, it was not possible to filter by “missing” in the Document Type column – this is now working.
- The Project Overview could not be exported to Excel if filtered or sorted by a custom field. This is now explained in an informational message.
- Custom fields on the project card could previously be updated by users with read-only access. This has now been corrected so that those fields also require edit rights.
- Fixed a bug affecting retained amounts in the payment plan when adjusting amounts.
- Resolved an issue where checklist items from a work order could incorrectly appear in the checklist for a VO under certain conditions.
- The value in the Performed by column was previously not included in the Excel export from checklist items – this has now been corrected.
