Preview
A feature that enables preview including commenting, masking, E-signing and PDF generation.

Select a file in the document structure in the Documents tab in NEXT. For example, a PDF.

Click the button: "Preview". A dialog opens with a preview of the selected file.

The preview provides a few more features in the form of:

Search, Comment, Redact, E-signing and PDF generation and download.

View and review the file. The file can be rotated and / or zoomed in / out.
Search

Click on the "Search" option.
-
Search for content by free text search, matching exact words, beginning and ending with, etc.
Annotate

Click on the "Annotate" option.

Choose to add different forms of comments in the form of objects. Examples of objects that can be used for commenting are:

Arrows
-
Lines
-
Figures such as squares and circles
-
Freehand drawing
-
Poly line drawing
-
Text boxes
-
Marking using color
-
Highlighting
-
Stamps
-
Links
-
Most of these can also get any color.
Redact
Through masking, you make selected parts black or any color. This is to hide information that should not be displayed after the document has been generated as a PDF.

Click on the "Redact" option.

Choose to redact:

A simple line of text
-
A larger area through a square figure.

Or mask an entire page.

It is also possible to make a redaction and then use the Redact View function to be able to see through the black to see that you have not redacted something that should still be visible.
E-signing

Click on the E-signing option.

Select to perform the following:
-
Create freehand signature. The user can draw a signature with the mouse pointer which can then be saved.

Create text-based signature. The user can write his signature with any font and color which can then be saved.

Place a created signature and stamp it. The user can choose from their various signatures and reuse them to sign a document.

Placement of date stamp. The user can stamp today's date on a document.

PDF Generation and download

Click on the Download option.

Select "Download as", PDF.

Select whether Annotations should be included
-
Select whether Redactions should be included
-
Choose whether to include E-signatures

Select:

Preview it
-
Save a new version as either the original format or PDF depending on what is selected in step 2 above. Then upload

Download.
