This article explains how email management works in Next Project.
Limitations
At the moment, only text can be sent in emails from Next Project — images and company logos are not supported.
Any files you attach must not exceed 12 MB in size. This limit is in place to help ensure your email is delivered successfully and isn't too large for your recipient's email server. If you need to send larger files, we recommend using a personal file storage service and sharing a link to the files in NEXT instead — you can then attach that link in your email.
Supplier inquiry send dialog — note the selected URL-linked attachment row.
Attached Documents
If you attach documents that are links to files, they'll appear as a link at the bottom of your message. If you'd prefer the link to appear higher up in the email, you can move it to your desired position.
Please keep in mind that all documents you choose to attach will be sent to every recipient on the email.
Templates
You can create both individual and company-wide email templates for different purposes by going to Administration → Communication → Email Templates.
E-postmall tab showing email templates list and selected template's editable content.
Within a template, you can include different document labels that pull in information from the specific Work Order, Change Order, or Procurement you're sending the email from.
Email History
In the modules where you can send emails, you also have the option to view a history of emails that have been sent — relating to the specific work order, procurement, or similar item the email was sent from.
Click the Show Email Archive button to see a history of sent emails, including recipients and any attached documents.
