This article describes the updated packaging and license management in Next Project, where three packages are available: Foundation, Core, and Professional. The article explains how you can purchase additional licenses during the contract period and how administrators correctly configure user permissions to control who is authorized to make license purchases.
To make license management simpler and more flexible, we have updated our packaging and sent out new agreements for Next Project.
In your contract, you can see which package you have – Foundation, Core, or Professional – as well as how many licenses you have at the start of the agreement, both for mobile users and client users. Do you have questions about your new agreement? Don't hesitate to reach out – we're happy to help!

Add the correct permission to purchase more licenses
To be able to purchase additional licenses, the user must belong to a group where the "User License" permission is set to "Full permission".
The Administrative Permissions page — note the difference between read permission and full permission.
When this permission is configured, the "BUY LICENSE" dialog (see image below) is displayed to the user, who can then purchase new licenses by entering a quantity and clicking BUY.
The Manage Licenses page shows a license overview and a form for purchasing additional licenses.
All users who have access to the user registry have the "User License" permission set to "Read permission". This means they can see the top "OVERVIEW" dialog (see image below), but cannot purchase new licenses.
The Manage Licenses page shows the license overview; note whether usage exceeds purchased licenses.
